Salesforce – Chrome Extension

There is a Salesforce – Chrome Extension available, “that’s designed to complement the user experience with continuous productivity feature releases. Select which features you want your users to have access to”.

Looking at the UI in Setup, click the “Google Chrome” link:

Once installed, the extension lights-up with options available as expected:

After enabling the “Component Customization” feature, for example, this menu option appears:

After clicking this option, we can select widget-by-widget, which are visible on the home page:

As noted here, https://help.salesforce.com/s/articleView?id=sf.lex_lightning_extension_link_grabber.htm&type=5, “The Link Grabber (Beta) takes all Lightning links and opens them in a single browser tab. For standard navigation apps, this means that the content that’s currently open in your app is replaced with the content from the link. For Lightning console apps, that means that the link opens in a new workspace tab in your current console session.”.

That completes the overview of the Chrome extensions available for Salesforce.
